For celebrating the beauty of Mother Nature and thanking her for bestowing us with the free gifts of nature, we don’t need to wait for Earth Day or World Environment Day. Just a few noble souls that can lend a helping hand as the founders of Devboomi Sanrakshan, Dr. Jitendra Bist, Dr. A.N Pandey, Dr. Gogia Grover, Dr. Shalu Arora, Mrs. Madhu Bist, Kuldeep Dobriyal, Ashish, Rohit and Harish have done. These people, have set an example for us by conducting a tree plantation program on August 7, 2016, in which they planted about 195 trees at the area near Doon University. Devbhoomi Sanrakshan Prior to this event, Devbhoomi Sanrakshan society had their first tree plantation drive on July 31, 2016, in the same area. The organization has big future plans and their main objective is to conserve the environment, organize more such tree plantation programs and tackle the environmental issues. The society also aims at conducting free medical camps.
