Wouldn’t it be nice to have a walk in Nainital during the 1880s when it was not clustered by the commercial hotels, restaurants, and all such small scale businesses? We can only imagine how quiet the bustling roads of Nainital must be when the quaint hill station was untouched by modernization. If you are intrigued by this thought then just check out some of the eye-catching pictures of the ‘Lake City Nainital‘ during the British period when only a few mortals resided in the now densely populated Nainital.
