Now the tourists will be able to book online tickets for Himalaya Darshan through an online portal, which will be launched soon. Earlier, the bookings were done from Sahastradhara helipad situated at Dehradun. The online portal is being launched so that the tourists don’t face any kind of problem regarding the booking procedure.
As per the plan, the tourists will not be liable to pay any amount, after the online booking has been done. On reaching Dehradun, the travellers can directly pay the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, before taking off for Himalayan Darshan.
Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam’s Managing Director, C. Ravishankar told, that in order to publicize the concept of Himalaya Darshan various steps have been taken by the corporation. GMVN is planning to seek help, from a Pune-based private company to popularize their concept among the people. Earlier the 10 public relations departments of GMVN were doing the promotional work.
According to Himalaya Darshan plan, the tourists will be able to have a bird’s eye of the ‘Queen of Hills’ Mussoorie, Tehri and other beautiful destinations in the vicinity.
